Random Number Generator

Fair, unpredictable numbers in any range — for giveaways, games, raffles, classrooms and passwords.

Runs in your browser Free · no sign-up

At a glance

  • Picks from any range — 1 to 10, 1 to 100, negative numbers or up to quadrillions — with every number equally likely.
  • Generate up to 10,000 numbers at once, with no repeats, sorted or in drawn order, and leave out numbers you don’t want.
  • Decimals up to 6 places, and zero padding for PINs and ticket numbers (0042).
  • One-tap presets: dice, lottery 6 of 49, 4-digit PIN and 6-digit code.
  • Draw one by one without repeats for raffles, housie/tambola (1–90) and bingo (1–75), with a board of drawn numbers, undo, and numbers read aloud.
  • Uses your browser’s cryptographic random generator (the kind used for encryption keys), not a predictable formula. Nothing leaves your device.

Is it really random?

Ordinary random functions in programming languages follow a formula that can be predicted. This generator uses crypto.getRandomValues, the browser’s cryptographically secure generator that is fed by your device’s hardware, and it rejects the uneven remainder of each draw so that no number is even slightly more likely than another. That makes it suitable for prize draws and classroom picks; for an official lottery, use the method its rules require.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I pick a random number between 1 and 100?

Tap the 1–100 preset (or type 1 and 100) and press Generate. Every number from 1 to 100 has the same 1-in-100 chance.

Can I get random numbers without repeats?

Yes. Turn on No repeats and ask for as many numbers as you need — up to the size of the range. For a live draw, use Draw one by one.

Can I use it for housie or tambola?

Yes. Choose Draw one by one → Housie 1–90 and press Draw next for each number. The board shows every number called, you can undo a mistake, and the draw is kept if the page reloads.

Can I generate decimal numbers?

Yes. Choose 1 to 6 decimal places; for example 0 to 1 with 2 places gives numbers such as 0.37.

Can I leave some numbers out?

Yes. Type them under Leave out, such as 13 or 20-25, and they will never be picked.

Is it free and private?

Yes. It is free, needs no sign-up, and runs entirely in your browser; your settings and any draw in progress are remembered on this device only.
