Runs in your browser Free · no sign-up

At a glance

  • Four templates — Classic, Modern (sidebar), Minimal and Compact — with your choice of colour, font (Inter, Lora or Poppins), text size, date format and A4 or US Letter paper.
  • Downloads a real-text PDF that applicant tracking systems (ATS) can read, with clickable email, phone and profile links — and a Word (.docx) version recruiters can edit.
  • Sections for summary, experience, education, projects, skills, certifications, awards, languages and interests, plus personal details and a declaration for Indian applications, and your own custom sections.
  • A resume check flags missing contact details, weak bullet points, missing numbers, long bullets and length, and a job description match shows which keywords you are missing.
  • Live preview of the exact PDF, page by page. Reorder and hide sections, add a photo, and copy a plain-text version for job portal forms.
  • Everything stays in your browser and is saved on this device; export a .json file (or JSON Resume) to continue later or on another computer. Free, with no sign-up and no watermark.

How to write bullet points that get shortlisted

  • Start with an action verb — Led, Built, Reduced, Increased, Launched — not “Responsible for”.
  • Show the result with a number: “Cut report time from 3 days to 4 hours”, “Handled 120 customer calls a day”, “Saved ₹8 lakh a year”.
  • Keep each bullet to one or two lines, and 3–5 bullets per job.
  • Use the words from the job description for skills you really have — ATS software ranks resumes by matching them.
  • Keep the resume to one page with under about five years of experience, and two pages at most.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is this resume builder really free?

Yes. Every template, the PDF and Word downloads and the resume check are free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on downloads or edits.

Is my resume uploaded or stored on a server?

No. The resume is created in your browser and saved only on this device. Nobody — including us — can see it. Clear it any time with Start blank.

Are these resumes ATS-friendly?

Yes. The PDF contains real, selectable text with standard section headings, which applicant tracking systems read correctly. Classic and Minimal are the safest choices for job portals; the two-column Modern template is fine for most modern systems.

Should I add a photo, date of birth and declaration?

In India they are common for government, PSU and campus applications. Leave them out for private-sector, MNC and overseas jobs, where recruiters prefer not to see them.

Can I edit my resume later?

Yes. It is saved automatically in this browser. To move it to another device, use More → Save data (.json) and open that file there. JSON Resume files from other tools can be opened too.

What is the best resume format for freshers?

One page: contact details, a two-line summary, education with CGPA, projects and internships with results, skills and certifications. The example resume shows the structure — replace it with your details.

Can I write my resume in Hindi?

Hindi text prints correctly in the PDF, but most companies and ATS software expect an English resume, and some systems read Hindi text imperfectly.
