Type once and get your text in 28 stylish fonts — 𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐝, 𝓬𝓾𝓻𝓼𝓲𝓿𝓮, Ⓑⓤⓑⓑⓛⓔ, 𝔤𝔬𝔱𝔥𝔦𝔠 and more — ready to copy into Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, games and anywhere else you can paste text.

Runs in your browser Free · no sign-up

At a glance

  • Converts your text into 28 styles, including bold, italic, cursive (script), gothic (fraktur), double-struck, monospace, bubble, squares, small caps, upside down, strikethrough and glitch text.
  • The “fonts” are really Unicode characters, so they stay styled wherever you paste them — Instagram and Facebook bios, WhatsApp, X, YouTube, Discord and game names.
  • Letters that Unicode keeps elsewhere (like cursive ℬ, ℰ, ℋ) are filled in correctly, so no letter turns into a box.
  • Also makes decorated names such as ꧁༺ 𝓝𝓪𝓶𝓮 ༻꧂ for profiles and gaming IDs.
  • Pastes back to normal: the tool can turn fancy text into plain letters again.
  • Hindi and other scripts pass through unchanged — the styles apply to English letters and digits.

Where fancy text works

PlaceWorks?Tip
Instagram bio, name and captionsYesBios allow 150 characters; each fancy letter counts as one
WhatsApp messages and AboutYesFor plain bold or italic, WhatsApp also has *bold* and _italic_
Facebook, X, Threads, YouTube commentsYesKeep it short — long styled posts are hard to read
Game names (BGMI, Free Fire)MostlyGames limit name length and some symbols; check the preview
Usernames and @handlesNoHandles only allow plain letters, numbers, . and _

A note on accessibility

Screen readers used by blind and low-vision people read these characters as mathematical symbols (“mathematical bold capital H…”) or skip them. Use fancy text for a name or a few decorative words, and keep important information — prices, dates, links, instructions — in normal text.

Search engines and in-app search also see different characters, so a name written in 𝓬𝓾𝓻𝓼𝓲𝓿𝓮 may not be found by people typing it normally.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does a fancy font generator work?

It swaps each letter for a look-alike character from Unicode — the universal character set every phone and computer uses. For example, 𝐀 is “mathematical bold capital A”. Because they’re characters rather than a font, the style stays when you paste the text.

Why do some letters show as boxes?

The device you’re viewing on doesn’t have a font with that character — usually older phones. Bold, italic, cursive and bubble text work on almost all current devices; newer symbols may not.

Can I use fancy text in my Instagram bio?

Yes. Copy a style and paste it into Edit profile → Bio or Name. Each styled letter counts as one of the 150 bio characters.

Can I make stylish names for BGMI or Free Fire?

Yes — try the decorated styles. Games limit name length and may reject some symbols, so keep it short and check how it looks in the game.

Does it work with Hindi?

Unicode only has styled versions of the English alphabet and digits, so Hindi text stays as it is. You can mix both — the English parts get styled.

How do I turn fancy text back to normal?

Paste it into “Turn fancy text back into normal text” at the bottom of the tool, and copy the plain version.
