About JustTools

What we build

JustTools currently offers 98 tools across 14 categories — image tools, text tools, pdf tools, developer tools, calculators, education tools, business tools, career tools, converters, qr & barcode tools, security tools, internet & network tools, seo & marketing tools and games — with more added regularly. Each tool is built to be the fastest way to get its job done: open the page, use it, and leave with your result.

How the tools work

Almost every website that edits files uploads them to a server first. JustTools tools run entirely in your web browser instead, using the same built-in technology that powers web apps like photo editors and document viewers. Your images, documents and text are processed on your own device and saved straight back to it. We never receive them, so we can never store, share or leak them.

If a tool ever needs the internet to do its job — for example, to look up a website — its page will say so plainly, and will explain exactly what is sent and where.

Our principles

• Private by default. Your data stays on your device.
• Free for everyone. No sign-up, no trials, no watermarks and no “pro” features held back. The site is funded by advertising, and ads never lock a feature away.
• Fast on any device. Pages are lightweight and tools are designed for phones first.
• Honest. Every tool page explains what the tool does, how it works and where its limits are.
