How to sign a PDF online

Is a signature added this way legally valid?
This tool adds a picture of your signature to the page — an electronic signature in the everyday sense, like signing a printout and scanning it. Many businesses, landlords, schools and HR teams accept it for routine documents such as offer letters, rental agreements, forms and invoices.
It is not a certificate-based digital signature. In India, documents that legally require an electronic signature under the IT Act — for example many government filings, tenders and company returns — need a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) or Aadhaar eSign, which this tool does not provide. If you are unsure, ask the person or office who will receive the document.
Tips for a good signature
For an uploaded signature, sign with a dark pen on plain white paper, photograph it in good light from directly above, and keep Remove the paper on.
Sign last: make any other changes first — for example add page numbers or rearrange pages — then sign. To stop anyone moving or editing filled form fields afterwards, flatten the PDF.
