Add who paid for what, and see exactly who owes whom — then settle up in a few UPI payments.

Runs in your browser Free · no sign-up

At a glance

  • Add people and expenses, and see each person’s paid, share and balance at once.
  • Split each bill equally, by exact amounts, by shares (a child at half share) or by percent — amounts always add up to the paisa.
  • Settles everything in the fewest payments — usually one fewer than the number of people.
  • Each payment gets a Pay with UPI link and a QR code for the person being paid, with the amount filled in.
  • Share the result on WhatsApp, copy a link that opens the whole trip on a friend’s phone, or download a CSV.
  • No app, no sign-up, no ads in your group — the trip is saved only on your device, and links carry the data themselves.

An example

Four friends go to Goa. Asha pays ₹12,000 for the hotel, Ravi ₹2,400 for scooters, and Meena ₹3,600 for a dinner that Kabir skipped. The total is ₹18,000. Each owes ₹3,600 for the hotel and scooters, and the three at dinner owe ₹1,200 each for it. So Asha gets ₹7,200 back, while Ravi owes ₹2,400, Meena ₹1,200 and Kabir ₹3,600 — three payments to Asha instead of a tangle of small ones.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does it decide who pays whom?

It works out each person’s balance (what they paid minus their share), pairs people who owe and are owed the same amount, then has the biggest debtor pay the biggest creditor until everyone is even. That keeps the number of payments small.

How do UPI payments work here?

Add the UPI ID of the person being paid. Their settle-up line then has a Pay with UPI link (opens your UPI app on a phone) and a QR code to scan from another phone, with the amount and a note filled in. The payment itself happens in your UPI app.

Can my friends see the expenses?

Use Copy link or Share on WhatsApp: the link contains the whole trip, so it opens on any phone without an account. Nothing is uploaded to a server.

What if someone paid part of what they owe?

Press Mark as paid after a payment, or add an expense paid by them and shared only by the person they paid. The balances update at once.

Does it round correctly?

Yes. Amounts are kept in paise, and any leftover paisa from an uneven split goes to one person, so every split adds up exactly to the bill.

Is it free?

Yes, with no limits, no sign-up and no app to install.
